Beware of the Fake TALA Loan in iOS.

The official Tala Philippines app is available on the Google Play Store. It has more than 10 million downloads, and the face you will usually see in their official promotion is Judy Ann Santos.

So please be careful. As far as Tala Philippines Inc. is concerned, the official app is the one on the Google Play Store.

You will not find the legitimate Tala Philippines Inc. app on iOS or the Apple App Store.

So if you see other apps using the name “Tala” on the App Store, especially the orange-colored Tala app, please be careful. That is not the official Tala app under Tala Philippines Inc.

Based on borrower complaints and feedback, many people who used those other Tala versions experienced harassment. Some said the repayment term was only 7 days. Some said they were already receiving nonstop texts and calls even before the due date. And once the due date came, even contacts who were not listed as reference numbers were allegedly being texted.

So again, there is no legitimate Tala app under Tala Philippines Inc. on the App Store or iOS (as of this writing).

If you want to download Tala, always verify from the official source and make sure it is the official Tala Philippines app on the Google Play Store.
